TERNATE FIEST

The day before the fiesta, I asked permission to go to my classmate Camille’s home. But my mother shouted, “NO!” I lose my hope.

The next day, my mother asked me if I would be going to my classmate’s house, and definitely, she was the one who wants me to go. But also, she warned me that my father will also be there in Ternate, so I must be alert.

It was a regular school day. It was a regular day in which I ask, play, and watch my day pass by. After the class, we got three sets of tricycle for Camille and troupe goes to her house.

Unfortunately, the way was so narrow and there are so many shops. So the tricycle could only bring us up to the Elementary School of Ternate. There, we walked and walked until we reach the palengke, the whole troupe was gone, and divided to different sub groups.

Loriza, Zaborah and I was just on one group, we left them and can’t fine them. We just walk and walk! When we reached Camille’s home, we ate so much! Zaborah even sang in the Video Karaoke. ^^

While going home, we’ve ridden a jeepney… XD

CHRISTMAS VACATION

It was an over two weeks of joy and fun!

We got an overnight that vacation -- Mixhy, Xhaixy, Euge, Jehno and I. It was December 21 – the birthday of my father.

My mother said, ask my friends to come to my father’s 50^th birthday. After then, I hurriedly ask them to go and try to see me.

We come up to a plan that we will have an overnight in our other building, our lodging house business. There, I made sure that the laptop, internet wi-fi connection and others are stable and in perfect condition.

The time comes, at 7 pm, they got to be in the church – which was just in front of my grandparents’ home in Julugan and was also where the catered party was.

I looked for them inside the church, luckily, I found them before the mass started. The mass was about the beauty of love in it’s natural state. After the mass, we directly went to the party and eat. Mixhy and Jehno loved eating the lechon! :))

After eating, we asked permission if we can settle down on the lodging house, and greeted my father.^^ My father replied thank you and even let us bring 2 bottles of red wine!

When we entered the room, we got different trips! Mixhy got a UNYT, and call Darla, Bestcali Jehno and I are soundtripping, Shai and Euge are playing on the laptop of Mixhy.

We got even delivered San Mig Lights, and we finished 9 bottles. When my brother got on the next room, he offered Vodka to us and we got some. ^^

It was a tiring night and I realized that I became a teddy panda when Mixhy fall asleep hugging me… haha X]

At morning, when we woke up, it was noon, we’ve decided to eat at KFC, and we ordered, BUCKET MEAL! Wahehehe…

We went home, Jehno went to Mixhy’s house and refresh… Same with us…

We also decided to take the simbang gabi which was by 7 pm, there, at the same time, we got our souls and realize the truth. We took up this mass until the noche Buena except for my bestcali Jehno, because he lives in Naic.

While going home, I got another paranormal experience, here, it was another “doppelganger”. The word is also used to describe the sensation of having glimpsed oneself in peripheral vision, in a position where there is no chance that it could have been a reflection. They are generally regarded as harbingers of bad luck. In some traditions, a doppelgänger seen by a person's friends or relatives portends illness or danger, while seeing one's own doppelgänger is an omen of death.

CHRISTMAS PROGRAM

Every month of December before the exact date of Christmas, our school is having a Christmas party. And we have not only one Christmas party but two, one is for school level and the other one is for year level.

The school level Christmas party is a morning celebration. This party is always sponsored or better to say hosted by the SSG officers and members with the help of the teachers of course. But sad to say, the school level Christmas party for this year was not so fun. Maybe because as one of the juniors and because it was my third year being in here, I am used to that already and there’s no excitement anymore. There were lot of games, and I was part of some of the games. Like the Pinoy fear factor, at first I was kind an excited because I knew this was something weird and unique, but no its not, because you just need to eat balot, bitter gourd, radish with something on it and soft drink with egg, that’s all.

And there’s also a caroling contest, for this contest the 3rd year level won the 1st place AGAIN, the 4th year level got the 2nd place and the 1st and 2nd year level won the 3rd and 4th place respectively.

SYSTEMs

There was this plan of producing a broadsheet and was named as SYSTEMs – short for Society of Youth STudents who Excel in Math.

That was stated on action plan of the Calgeotrist Society. And again, this was going to be one of a kind!

Karissa, Ejae, Michy, and I would be helping to form and edit the facts that were going to be passed by the Calgeo officers and members. This was an exciting but also a difficult project. But I believe, with strength and wisdom, all of us could form together the SYSTEMs.

It is now the 1st Periodic test for our 3rd Grading Period. Yeah! After this suffering, was the “Christmas Vacation”. I wasn’t really focused with our tests, even though it was really hard!
I guess, I will fail my 3rd grading card, just because I was so exited for the upcoming vacation. I would like to make the time faster and jump going to the vacation. Wahuu! ^^

It wasn’t good enough. It caused me trouble.. huhu… My grades aren’t successful! They’re down on the mud! Huhu T_T

MATH FEST

Yeah! The 1^st ever Math Fest was planned and prepared by the Calgeotrist Society. And I was proud to be one of them! Hehe…

This was the first time I experienced Math Fest in This school since I had my 1^st year here, so congrats to CALGEOTRIST Society, especially to my friends, Ejae and Michy, the president and vice president respectively on their year level.. ^^

By the way it has many events; it’s a Math Fest so of course we have the math quiz, ahmm there is also the rubics cube contest, tower of Hanoi, comics strip, jingle and of course my favorite the Mr. and Ms. mathaba. wahehehe

I was so stressed that time. It was because, I was the one who prepared the certificates which was given to the winners. ^^

SEM BREAK

I guess I wasn’t grateful for having this Semestral Break. I got lots of stuff to fix in with. But these things won’t make me feel a way unfortunate. I showed myself that I could make my own destiny with or without the help of others.

Actually, we still got an outing in Shoreline (not sure with the spelling), I and Zaborah decided to go together in that outing and at the same time, a celebration for Kodie’s Birthday. His birthday was the same of Pamela’s birthday. (October 29). We had our swimming and we got some other companions, Kodie’s troupe. It was a day of fun and we played like kids in there! While playing, jumping on the pool, Stanford got cramps on his legs.

After that day of fun, I proceeded to my assignments and projects. And I realized everything I am doing was also for me. ^____^

Cheerdancing - A Breakthrough in This Intrams

Yeah right, the third year level practiced for their successful cheering. These practices lead our team the champ for our squad! At first, when we saw the performance of the freshmen, we are somewhat calm because their steps and movements were somewhat simple. After the freshmen had performed, the junior level performed and gave their best to excel in that first competition.

Next to perform was the seniors level, we do not want to watch them because we knew that their cheer leader was Ate Dana, so we are somewhat shocked when they are going to perform. Wahaiz… Lastly, the Yellow team – sophomore level performed.

After these performances, the Saliw Dance Troupe performed everything they had performed in this Alay Lakad and Maragondon Day. After then, the judges, including Mr. Andaman – started to announce the champions for the cheerleading competition. WE GOT THE CROWN IN HERE! ^^

When I was in second year in Cavite National Science High School, in II - Nitrogen, I had a classmate who changed my outlook in life. I admire her so much because she influenced me and made a significant change in my life. It was a fact that being in the Nitrogen Class is very challenging but she helped me cope with the pressures and hardships to be in the cream section. She was very intelligent but she was not selfish to impart her knowledge to me and my other classmates who needs her help. She always had time for my inquiries not only in school, but also at home. She belongs to a rich family, but in spite of this, she is very down to earth, simple, and kind. She influenced me to be a true Science student by being an analytical thinker. ^^

Now, though I am no longer in the cream section, I still consider her as one of my closest friends and I try to follow her good qualities because I know that it will make me a better person. ^^

Shaider and I are amazed that there is Getamped in this computer shop.

It was our research time. My classmates and I are already trying to fix ourselves and our things.

I couldn't believe that neither one of us really not get an approval from Sir Mojica. Wahaiz, what are we supposed to do!?

Huhu.. It wasn't fun anymore. At first, I really thought of Research as FUN, but now, I guess it was a BIG MISTAKE!

Yeah!!

The fiesta of the town of Tanza has come. It was a sad news that this day was a regular school day.. T_T

But I have decided that this day would really be memorable!

YEAH!!

I have invited Emerson, Shaider and Michy in our residence and they agreed. After going home bye our service, I have waited for their promise. There, Shaider and Emer knocked the glass door with my aunt outside. And found out that Michy would go home first and just go to our place.

We already ate without Michy. So then, after eating, we tried to connect to the net and play, but, the connection was so weak!

Then, Michy has come, and also eat. After eating, we went upstairs, the place where are home really was. And play Getamped. ^^

By around 8:00 pm, they tried to go home. But Michy requested for take out, so my mother gave them something to bring with. XD

Michy also requested for drinks so, I got soft drinks in our canteen, and decided to go home already.

Shaider run towards Mcdonalds’ fastfood chain. His bladder was already going to blow! There, he saw Dianne, in mixed emotions. She really looks like going to cry that time. There, we found out that she doesn’t know how to go back to Naic.

We are so lucky that we found her there. It was because she said, a tricycle driver was offering her to take home (Naic) which was really impossible. Try to think of it, TANZA to NAIC, by riding a tricycle!? THE HELL!! I do not want to think of it but still, we are lucky to find Dianne in good condition.

Week For Being WEAK!

Since I have been offering so much of my time playing rather than studying, I have found out that my grades are gradually getting low. Yeah, distribution of cards are getting near but still, I do not know how to refrain myself of playing.

Yes, I am weak on my studies, but also, I am weak in Getamped!

I think I need to focus myself on studying. I need it for taking my college days. ^^

It was a bus for the students of Three – Oxygen and Three – Hydrogen. We are still settling down because we are all excited for a day expected for fun and enjoyment.

Mafi, Dianne and I decided to sit together. They even asked me to take a picture of them! ^^

Papa Bear was fixing the aircon for him, while Martin posed.

Kim and Zyrex took some lollipops to suck!

Ann also took one, was she possessed? Her eyes look like one…

Ma’am Jacqueline T. Ureta, our adviser, and our field trip coordinator, she was really kind, and truly understanding.

Dianne and I were already bored of just sitting. I took a picture with us, to let our boredom go away!

A Father Of Mine

My father serves to be the strong foundation of my life. He was a disciplinarian and a very strict man. Sometimes I cannot understand but I know all along that all he wants is to correct our path so that we can go on smoothly in our life. He always corrects our values so that we can be a better person like him. To others he is very generous man who always had a helping hand in times of your need and problems. For my mother he was a loving and caring husband. He is a very good provider who does everything just to give us a better education, a better future. He is also a dignified man, a man of principles. You cannot break his rules if he knows he is right. I am very lucky to have a father like him and I pray to God to protect him and give him a long life.

My Ancestral Roots

My great, great grandparents hail from Cavite. They are pure Caviteños exept my great grandmother from my mother side who has a trace of Chinese in her blood. Her ancestral root is a Tangcangco. My great grandfather, Francisco Dones is a calesa driver and his wife, Melenia Romero, loves to cook and sell native delicacies in our town. She cooks puto, kutsinta, bibingka, etc. According to my mother, my great grandmother Irene Dones became a widow at an early age and Serafio Dator left her with a son and two daughters.

My great grandfathers Feliciano Arayata and Santiago Nocon were hardworking farmers. They both owned a farm lot in Tanza which they cultivated and planted palay, vegetables and other root crops. Feliciano's wife Serafia Pulido used to sell vegetables from house to house using only her basket, bilao and her salakot. Santiago or Lolo Agoy's wife, Cleotilde or Lola Tindeng helps Lolo Agoy in the field works like planting and harvesting the palay.

My grandparents Napoleon "Napy" Dones and Hermogena "Moheng" Pulido hails from Julugan, Tanza, Cavite. They started their business from a small store and through determination and hardwork they became a very successful dealer of softdrinks and liquor in Tanza. God gave them ten wonderful children, all with college degrees - one accountant, three dentists, and the rest are managing their own business. Napy and Moheng have twenty five grandchildren and some of them are already successful in their field of work.

My grandparents from my motherside were Santiago "Joe" Dator is a meat inspector in Vitas, Tondo. He died in 1981 due to heart attack at an early age of 53. His wife Ponciana "Penching" Nocon raised their seven children alone for twenty seven years. Lola Penching is really a very diligent and responsible mother. She has thirteen grandchildren from her seven siblings.
My parents Alfredo is a businessman and my mother Gloria is a Medical Technologist. My mother stopped working in the hospital when our business expanded and she decided to help my father runs our growing business. They have three children, two boys and a girl. I am the youngest in the family but I am not a spoiled brat. We all had our duties at home. My brother Dan is taking up Dentistry and my sister Katrin is studying Biology. Both of them are enrolled in UP.

I am happy to say that I am very lucky to belong to a family who respect each other, we love one another and foremost we love God above all.

As a student, I can consider myself as a tiny yet helpful bee. When I was still young, I do not care for everything. I was then a happy-go-lucky small boy. But as I grew older, I came to the point that I realize what really my role in this world is. I questioned myself but I cannot get the exact answer. As days passed by, I made myself busy by studying my lessons in school. During weekends, I helped my parents at home. In my simple yet helpful ways, I tried to do good deeds everyday. I keep peace in my family, in my community and my society through love and patience. Now I know the reason for living in this world. I am a modern youth of today which is the hope of my country. In my hands is the future.

GetAmped is the Day!

FRIDAY-SATURDAY: A DAY OF MY LIFE! ahahaha!

Yeah! It was Friday when I decide to go with the Limitations Guild members in Mall of Asia. But, when I arrived home, I suddenly felt so tired, and then I fell asleep. I woke up by 11 pm to check who is online in the Limitations Guild in Yahoo Messenger but their all offline! Waaaaaah!

On the next day, I woke up 7 am just to make sure to call either Dianne, or Katrina, and text Michy, and Emer. I received no replies or useless answers! I am so worried of what is going to happen to me! Good thing I checked my Yahoo messenger account to see who’s online, there I found Michy. I asked him if I could still go with them… He said, yes and we have to meet in McDonald’s Tanza, which is just in front of our house by around 8 to 9 am.

I tried to go there by 8:30 but only Eugene and Shaider was just their. We waited for so long ‘til Bea arrived. Yey! We are already four… But still we need to wait for Michy, Jake, Jehno, Katrina, and Emer. Haizz… 9:30 has arrived and there, we are now complete!^^

Our journey already started! Yey! While we are having our trip to MOA, my seatmates are Bea and Michy, and Katrina while those at the back are, Shaider, Eugene, Emer, Jake and Jehno. There, they are chatting, laughing and others remains to be silent.

Inside MOA, we tried to look for EGG. Ahahaha... MOA is an enormous one; it was so disturbing to look for something you might need for if you were just a new person in this place. Inside EGG, we registered for the raffle promos and some other papers. Haha! Next, Michy and the other guildmates tried to chat with their friends they knew of playing Getamped. After chatting, GM Dredd, started to discuss the promo, the tournament and the rules.

After so much time for waiting for these discussions, we decided to take our lunch at Jollibee. Most of us, ordered, one piece burger steak! Hahaha. We brought our food outside because there was no more place to eat at… Then we decided just to eat on the tables that belong to Greenwich! Ahahaha!

After taking our lunch, we went back to EGG to have some free play! Ahahaha.. But unfortunately, only some had a place. Next, we just waited and shared some computers.. When we felt bored of waiting, Kat and I look for the National Bookstore to buy a clearbook and refills, well then, I also bought a Getamped Notebook! Ahaha.

After walking and strolling, we went back to play… There, a tournament was well then going to start! Dianne called me to replace her computer because, Bea and her will buy battery for Eugene’s camera. Just then, GM Dredd asked me to let the tournament participant sit on my place. We actually waited for it to have some more place to play at. <’Coz it was free play>. Then, we the 1^st part was then done and they actually go outside! There! Plenty of “Free Play Computers”! Yey!

Emerson and I started to play.. haha! Then we had some battles.. These battles seem useless because I am considering myself as a weakling! Haizz..

Then, GM Dredd, called all of us to go outside to have the Raffle Promos! Yey! I am so excited that I forgot that I am not one of them… Hihi…

There, after waiting for so long… My raffle number was called! Waaaaaah! Guess what I got?! It was a useless paperweight! Ahuhu.. It doesn’t even have a sign that it was from a Getamped Tournament! Huhu..

After then, we started to go back our computers and play!

AHAHAHAHAHA!

Nice Games… I ranked three times! YEY!

After some hours, Michy already fight for the Individual Championship. There, many watched and waited for his victory! But, he loses and we wanted for a rematch because that time, it was very “LAG”! haizz.. Well then, he became the 4^th in position. After then, we waited for the other parts... We waited for the Team Championship. Ahehehe..

After that, I felt so tired and bored by just playing! Awts.. So, I just watch the battle being flashed on the screen by ah projector. Haizz..

These things really would not let me feel my satisfactory level so I just tried to watch and learn something in that day… ARGGH! I can’t believe, it was already night! And we are just waiting for the “Awarding”.

Well, it was already late at night when the battle of Luzon vs. Visayas was finished. In the sixth round, they got a tie breaking! Whoa! But still, Visayas became the first.

At last, it was already the awarding! Yey! Michy had his medal, a Getamped collectible and pictures with the GMs. For the others, sorry, but I do not know! Ahahaha..^^

After the awarding, Michy and the others got the posters of Getamped on the walls as a remembrance, and asked the GMs for their dedications!

Aww.. Very nice! Then, we still would like to have pictures with the GMs.. And Yey! We have it! Then, it was already very late when we have ourselves settled down to the vehicle! Hihi..

I arrived home by 12:10. My mother was waiting for me to ask what had just happen! Whoa! But still, my lame excuses worked. ^^

This was a really an extravagant, unforgettable, worthily, memorable day! And I do hope that someday, we would have the same experiences again. Thanks to you, my real friends. Special thanks to Emerson, Michael, Jake, Shaider, Eugene, Errus, Bea, Katrina, and Dianne! I would really not forget about this, I will still cherish these memories in my heart as a friend of yours! Thanks to you!

This week was another week for fun and joy. You might ask what it feels to be a junior. Actually, for me, this week was not just for my academic purpose, but also for a life full of determination… “ONE FOR ALL, ALL FOR ONE!”- an expression, II-Nitrogen always shout and say for everything or every problem we had encounter. In truth, Zaborah, Nobie and I always visit the III-Nitrogen. And I am happy that their adviser, Ma’am Arlene Tolentino, welcomed us in their room.

I thought there would not have any differences in my life. But I guess my mind was totally blocked with my memories as a Sophomore Student. Yes, I could not even believe that I am now a part of the juniors, especially when we had our Rover – BSP Uniform. And now, as a third year student, I realized everything I had learned on my own experiences. I may remember and miss my former service mates, my closest friends, and my memories, but I will cherish them in my heart. It does not also mean it is the end of our life, we must continue to move on, and keep moving forward. Our life depend on us, we must open our hearts for the “New Us”, “New Life”, and “New Opportunities” in our heart. We may vary in our experiences, but as we go on, we will meet and have the same fate.

The first time I heard this blogging as a replacement for our diary, I felt kind of excited!

Yes, we started all our class this June 10, 2008. It was the day, a day that was intended and expected for a start of new school year academic fun. It was so exciting for many kids to start the new school year, but for me, it’s totally not!
I am really disappointed for the outcome of my attitude, an attitude that made me go out the cream section I belong last school year. But since I am now removed from Nitrogen, I need to cope up; I need to accept all the mistakes I’ve made. It was hard for me to be with them because all the memories we’ve got are all still fresh, but now, I am who I am, and will do my best to prove I can be a part of this section – III – Oxygen.

Here, I’m really going to start my entry for this blog… My first remarkable week all went this way…

It was the first day of school year 2008-2009. Around 4:45 am, my mother started to wake me up. Well then, I’m not used to wake up that early, so she shouted so loud as if my eardrum will burst! My eyes are still closed when I’m eating my breakfast. It was so early that I really can’t realize what I should do for preparing myself for my first day of school. I waited for our school service to fetch me up in front of McDonald’s restaurant, and when they arrived, I couldn’t believe that there are eight new kids. They are all first year students. Hmmm… By that time, I am trying to behave like a big brother to them (haha). But of course, I couldn’t hide the real me, a funny, chatter guy with so much problems in life! Then, when I realized we are near to our destination, I fixed myself and imagine on how to carry all my things to our room. My day starts, and when I heard that we must fall-in, I hurriedly go to the basketball court in the school field. After so much conversation, we started the flag ceremony. After that, we start the day inside our new room with our Class Adviser, Ma’am. Jacqueline T. Ureta. Hmmm… I’m still not used with my classmates so I don’t speak to much (ahahaha). For me, nothing’s different with my days a Sophomore Student; it’s just different because of the ambiance, my schedule, and my classmates. For our elective, I chose Analytic Geometry, because, anything related to math, startled me so much, so, I am so interested with the new challenges I am going to face this elective.

The two days of diagnostic tests started and it was our diagnostic test days! Uhhm.. Actually, my head really aches so much for taking these test. These tests are so difficult. Just by thinking about it, I really cannot survive this whole year. But I believe, my teachers will guide me towards the correct path of academic way. I really would like to have an advanced study for me to have these things in my mind. I guess I am really excited for this coming year. Even though this was a start for new challenges in my life, I must trust myself and believe that this would be another year of learning. Diagnostic test were really not easy, it was kind of a final test or achievement test, but was just not recorded. It was just to test our abilities and knowledge of the subjects we are going to take this third year high school.

In the afternoon of the first day, we had our class organization and clean our respective parts by group. We had our elections and Glenerson was elected to be the class President, while Kim was the one elected for being the class Vice President. For class Secretary, we had Camille, and we had Kodie be the class Assistant Secretary. For being the class Treasurer, we assigned Harry, and I was the one assigned for being the class Assistant Treasurer. For the other positions, sorry, but I cannot remember (hehe).

In the afternoon of the second day, we had our club organizations. Again, I chose to be part of the Math Club. It was my third year of being part of Math Club. I hope to receive loyalty award (hahaha), just a joke. Then I was really surprised of having Ma’am Rhea L. Cesa as the School Level and 3rd Year Level Club Adviser. I cannot believe that again, I was in charge for being the treasurer (Year Level), I guess. Sorry but I really do not remember my position. After the Math Club Organization, Ate Ellyza recruits members by making them sign-up in a form in the School Gym. Then, she asked for 10 voting delegates from each year level, and I’m one of them. Then, we start the election. Again, I am elected, but now, I’m one of the PROs.

Lastly, it was Friday! And today was “Friday the Thirteenth”! I guess I must be careful of what I am doing. Nothing is so much important for this day. It seems nothing was remarkable. For this day, we had our school organization, and we had meeting for our clubs. The only club meeting I went was “The Molecules”- the school paper. We just discussed our uniform, our departments, ID, articles, etc…
